A pool-side formal garden for a Memorial City residence •Details
The narrow planting areas adjacent to a backyard pool were renovated to evoke a formal, "Bayou Bend" garden. Overgrown shrubs were removed to make way for trellises of Iceberg roses, Confederate jasmine, and white azaleas, all contained by boxwood borders. To increase the garden space, terra cotta containers were replanted with citrus trees, colorful annuals, and roses in subdues hues.
